I’m going to GenreCon!

A GenreCon promotional slide with details of the panel What Do Editors Do? SLQ Room 1B Sunday 20 February 2022 1.30pm-3.00pm. Book your tickets at www.genrecon.com.au

That’s right folks! I’m appearing on a panel with the wonderful Sally Asnicar and Kerry Davies to talk about editing genre fiction at Genrecon 2022. Since I’ll be flying to Queensland for the event, I plan to stick around for the whole con.

So what’s the panel about?

The most common question editors are asked about their work is ‘What exactly do you do?’ Even from writers! Editors work with writers for the benefit of readers. They help writers get their message across with greater clarity, elegance, forcefulness and insight.

In this session find out what editors can do for you and your genre, where you can find an editor and anything else you would like to know about editors and publishing in Australia.

For more details on the panel or to book tickets to attend, head to the GenreCon website.
